Chef Dennis Tay’s love for restaurants began at George Brown College. From there he travelled and worked in Italy, at the two Michelin starred La Tenda Rossa in Tuscany.
After staging in Edinborough, Scotland, and working in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Dennis returned to Toronto to be a part of great kitchens such as Splendido Restaurant, Keriwa Cafe, and Richmond Station.
Expect bold and bright Asian flavours from this former Top Chef Canada All Stars competitor as he draws inspiration from his Filipino heritage and frequent travels to South East Asia. Chef Dennis is now the Chef de Cuisine and a partner at Chef Nick Liu’s acclaimed DaiLo Restaurant.
